End Fallujah found the driver of French journalists

In the Iraqi city of Fallujah was found Syrian hostage who was kidnapped along with two French journalists. Was their Syrian driver, reported in April U. S. Marines said they discovered the Syrian handcuffed to a place that is kept secret. The driver told him that the hijackers are still separated from the Frenchmen a month ago. We remind the French journalists and their Syrian driver were kidnapped near Najaf on 20 August.

Tightly surrounded rebels in Fallujah

U. S. troops controlled most of the city of Fallujah, military officials reported sources. Stresses that the surviving rebels were caught in a tight loop in the southern part of the city, they cut off all routes of retreat. However, the U. S. side acknowledged that the rebel areas have strong resistance of the cleansing operation of the city. And confirmed reports that some of the leaders of the terrorists have fled Fallujah.

American forces fired on Iraqi air city of Mosul, Reuters reported. The aim of the attacks were rebels who have attacked police stations and took part in street battles this week, spokesman for the U. S. military command in the city Angela Bauman. She explained that the last two days, terrorists have attacked nine police stations. Most of the rebels are located in southwestern Mosul. Over the past two days terrorists shelled continuously senior Iraqi police and National Guard in the city.

The mangled body of woman found in Fallujah

Body of woman, 60 years old, with amputated arms and legs and throat slit was found this morning on a street in the southern part of Fallujah by U. S. Marines. The woman's face is disfigured. She had gray hair and was wearing a blue dress. It is not clear whether the Iraqi or foreigner, informed BTA. We recall two foreigners married to Iraqis were kidnapped in late October. One is Margaret Hassan, head of international charity with the British-Irish-Iraqi citizenship, and the other - Teresa Borce - is Polish.
